This charming little townhouse was originally two separate apartments. The assignment was to merge the two units and create a cohesive interior through materials and furnishings. The staircase was designed to serve as a sculptural element in the space, while also functioning as the connection between the two floors. A foundational palette of materials and colors was selected, and finally, all the furniture was chosen. The project also included on-site construction management, as the client is not permanently based on the island.
